When world was dealing with Corona issue and most countries were under lock-down to handle the issue, NASA, a space research organization was silently working on implementing some of engineer’s ideas to fight against COVID-19. The moment when you were told that NASA on corona, everyone crack their head what a space research organization doing with spreading disease. On April 1, NASA called for innovative ideas from its workforce, more than 250 ideas came in, most innovative were picked and started working on them to quickly respond to health crisis. In less than 4 weeks, NASA’s JPL engineers team built portable ventilator specifically designed for corona virus infected patients, which is appreciable. Later NASA also developed portable room sterilizing device, they call it AMBUstat, which fogs the room and every surface is sterilized, free from corona virus, to help schools, work placesto start their work. Partnering with medical companies, it is developing Positive pressure helmets that minimize the need of conventional ventilators for patients suffering from minor symptoms.
